Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that choosing a dentist is an important decision and want to ensure that you have all the information you need. View our FAQs below and contact us with any additional questions.
We take pride in being in network with almost all private dental insurances! Chances are if you have dental insurance, we most likely accept it. We also accept most Medicare plans. We do not accept Medicaid/OHP. If you have questions on your specific dental insurance coverage, feel free to give us a call!
The best way to schedule a new patient appointment is by calling our office at (541) 830-0043. You can also message us on our “Contact Us” page, but calls will have a faster response time.
Yes we do! We offer two types of sedation options: nitrous or oral sedation. We know that sometimes going to the dentist can be stressful and we want to help make it as comfortable and free of anxiety as possible!
Nitrous gas helps to calm and relax you during an appointment. One of the benefits of nitrous is that you are safe to drive immediately after your appointment.
Oral sedation is when the dentist prescribes Halcion or another benzodiazepine to be taken about 30 minutes before your appointment. This works well for those who need a deeper level of sedation during procedures. This does require you to have someone to take you to and from your appointment.
We do see children! We see children age 6 and older. If your child is younger than 6, we recommend seeing a pediatric dentist. We are happy to give a recommendation if requested.
Yes we do have digital x-rays. They allow us to diagnose better, more quickly, all while using much less radiation than traditional x-rays.
We work with a third party company, Care Credit, to offer financing options for those that would like a payment plan to help pay for their dental work. It is a quick application to apply, and can even be done right in the office.
Yes! We have multiple team members who are fluent in Spanish, and Dr. Bjork can also communicate fairly well in Spanish too.
We are open Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
We love to help people get out of pain quickly and be seen as soon as possible! We always strive to prioritize immediate dental issues in our schedule, and most likely can schedule you for an appointment the same day or the day after.
We provide all of these services! Dr. Bjork is highly trained in all these areas of dentistry. See “Our Services” page for more detailed information about each of the services we provide.
It’s never too late to get back into the routine of visiting the dentist! We’d love to help! Feel free to call our office at (541) 830-0043 and we’d be happy to schedule an appointment for you.
At a dental check-up, you will check-in at the front and update any necessary paperwork. Then, you will meet with your friendly hygienist who will take x-rays, clean your teeth, and provide education on the condition of your teeth and gums. Dr. Bjork will then come in for an exam and evaluate if any treatment is needed. If a treatment plan is made, we will clearly explain all options, and you will be able to make decisions on how you would like to proceed.
