Dental Technology

At White Pine Dental we use the latest dental technology to help make the patient experience safer, more efficient, and more comfortable than ever before.

Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera is a small, wand-shaped camera that takes clear images of the teeth, gums and other oral structures. You are able to see these images in real-time on a large computer screen in the room. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and will help you understand what is really going on in the mouth.

Digital X-Rays

We use the newest digital x-rays, which allow a special computer sensor to transfer the x-rays directly onto the computer. These newer sensors reduce the amount of harmful radiation by nearly 90%. With the x-rays on the computer, we can enhance the images and diagnose conditions at an earlier stage, which can lead to less invasive treatment options.
State of the Art Technology

Cone Beam, CT Scan, and 3-D Imaging

3D CBCT stands for cone beam computed tomography. More complex dental issues may require a CBCT scan to diagnose and treat. These 3D images provide us with in depth and clear images of the bone, soft tissue, nerves, and sinuses that surround the teeth. It aids in diagnosis and treatment of teeth that may have infection or fractures, and assists in determining the size and placement of dental implants.
